Kentucky Fuse Featured Model Jae Auri (Louisville, KY)

Jae Auri, 23, from Louisville , KY started her modeling career after discovering Nat Carter of Blackbox Visions (BBV) through friends Arizona Cardinal and Alfonso Smith. Jae admired the photos of Smith and his girlfriend, Ashley “Huneybee” Beeler, so she contacted Nat, the genius behind the camera, and they held several conversations until Spring Break of this year. Jae shocked the Carters when she showed up on set, in grey sweat pants and a 3XL Don Corleone shirt. Her plans were when she came through the doors of Blackbox Visions Photography Studio in Stone Mountain , GA was to shoot for an hour and ended up shooting for 3 days. During those 3 days she received some coaching from Carla Carter, Nat’s wife, and Jae was given the alias ROTY (Rookie of the Year).

Shortly after the weekend in Atlanta , Nat shared Jae with the world, exposing her to a host of other people and thus beginning their professional relationship. They have shot together on numerous occasions, with no signs of stopping or even slowing down. Jae is a paid model and working alongside Nat and Carla has enabled her to shoot on houseboats, yachts, MVP Studios in Louisville , KY , Piedmont Park , Mixx Factory, and a boxing gym in Indiana where she earned the name “Public Enemy” donning authentic boxing apparel, styled by Tomika Martin of Salon360, and a series of undisclosed locations.

She claims that her home base for modeling will always be in Blackbox Visions studio and she intends to further push the BBV brand that started her and the investors that have backed her. Including giving back to herself, she claims that modeling has become a liberating pastime and a surreal experience, as she originally planned to go into marketing & merchandising in which she has dual degrees. Her mother had a modeling career but she had no idea the potential that she had and expects for her opportunities to be limitless with Tiandra Robinson, TR the PR, as her publicist and BBV as her founding family. Her ultimate goal is to have as much fun as possible & learn as much from the experiences as possible.
